As Easter approaches, families across the Quad Cities are gearing up to embark on “egg-citing” adventures in search of the elusive Easter Bunny. Following are four places Across the Street found where you can join in the fun and catch a glimpse of the beloved holiday hare:
• Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary Easter Eggstravaganza — Visit Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary, 1403 Heritage Park Road, Prescott, for its annual Easter Eggstravaganza.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 31. Special Easter treats for the animals, fun photo spots and prizes for the “eggsperts” who complete the zoo-wide egg hunt. Candy bags are available while supplies last. Light concessions will be available for purchase. The event is free with paid admission: $15 for adults; $13 for seniors and military; $12 for students with ID; $10 for children ages 3-12; children younger than 3 and zoo members get in free. • Chino Valley Community Center Easter Egg Hunt — Chino Valley Word of Life Assembly of God is hosting a free Easter egg hunt at the Chino Valley Community Center Park, 1615 N. Road 1 East.
The event features five egg hunts separated by age group, train rides, face painting, a visit from the Easter Bunny and plenty of candy. The first hunt begins at 10:15 a.m. for ages 1 to 3. For more information, visit www.cvwola.com.
• Easter Egg Hunt – Family Fun Day at Santa Fe Station Park — Enjoy an Easter egg hunt and get pictures taken with the Easter Bunny while socializing with friends and family from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Santa Fe Station Park, 6751 Santa Fe Loop Road, Prescott Valley.
The free event also features face painting, a bounce house and pickleball. Call or text 928-533-6185 with any questions.
• GO AZ Motorcycles Easter Egg Hunt — Join GO AZ Motorcycles, 6500 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley, for its annual Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30.
The event features egg hunts and free food. The egg hunt for children 5 and younger is at 10 a.m. Then, at 10:30 a.m. another egg hunt will be held for children 12 and younger.
