Delighting fans with their harmonious melodies and polished stage presence, the renowned Australian vocal group The TEN Tenors is set to return to Prescott at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center, 1100 E. Sheldon St.

Following their highly praised performance in February 2022, the 10 charismatic Aussies will take the stage once again at Yavapai College’s (YC) performing arts center as part of their Greatest Hits Live global tour.

Celebrating 28 years of musical excellence, the tour promises a spectacular showcase of fan-favorite songs spanning various genres, including opera, pop and rock. Known for their dynamic performances and Broadway-style choreography, The TEN Tenors have built a reputation for delivering unforgettable renditions of timeless classics.

“The ensemble really started singing classical music and operatic music, which is something that we still do, but we also perform newer songs and contemporary songs, but with a bit of an operatic twist,” said Michael Edwards, a tenor and touring music director for the group. “The repertoire is very varied. There’s a lot of different stuff throughout the show, so there’s kind of a bit of everything really.”

The Greatest Hits Live tour will feature beloved tunes such as “Amigos Para Siempre,” “Aranjuez,” “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Nessun Dorma,” among others. Edwards expressed excitement about sharing their greatest hits with fans worldwide.

“We’re basically going back through our catalog of arrangements over the years,” Edwards said. “The group’s been around for nearly 30 years and we’ve chosen some of our favorites and some of our audience favorites as well. So, this is kind of the best of the best.”

Audience members can anticipate an immersive experience, as the group seamlessly blends up to 24 songs into entertaining musical medleys.

“We’ve got a Frankie Valli the Four Seasons medley; we’ve got a disco medley,” Edwards said. “It can be difficult, but we have a really amazing arranger who helps us with our arrangements. The Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons one in particular has about six songs in it or so and the way that they kind of flow together is really awesome and it’s a real highlight of the show.”

Since their inception in 1995, The TEN Tenors have captivated audiences across Australia and beyond. With a global presence and a following of 95 million fans, they have enchanted audiences in 34 countries, solidifying their status as musical maestros.
