As part of the Folk Sessions, Music in the Highlands concert series, the most sought-after Peter, Paul & Mary tribute show in the country, MacDougal Street West is performing two shows at 3 and 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at the Highlands Center’s Amphitheater, 1375 S Walker Rd, Prescott.
According to a news release, Paul Stookey (of Peter, Paul & Mary) said of the band, “Caught MacDougal Street West- kinda spooky honestly, hearing those vocal parts rendered so faithfully – thanks for sharing P, P & M’s legacy of music.”
The Folk Sessions may well be one of the most eclectic radio shows in America. Broadcast throughout Central & Northern Arizona for 18 years on the KJAZZ Radio Network and Prescott Public Radio, part of the Arizona Community Radio Network, the Folk Sessions has established a loyal following, producing quality radio programs and live concerts.
