In this timeless musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night, after being visited by the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future.

“Scrooge the Musical,” produced by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals, is scheduled to open at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, and runs through Sunday, Dec. 17, with showtimes at 7 p.m. Fridays, 2:30 and 7 p.m. Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays, at the Main Street Theater in the Prescott Valley Performing Arts Center, 3235 Main St.

All tickets are $25; those 6 and younger get in free. There is a $5 discount offered at the box office with ID for seniors, military, students and teachers. For more information, call 928-515-2944.
