The Trilogy Tour – featuring Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin – took center stage at the Footprint Center in Phoenix on Saturday, Nov. 25. The three Latin music sensations played a variety of hits throughout the more than three-hour concert.

The lineup, which varies from night to night on who opens, comes on second and headlines each show, saw Pitbull take the stage first, followed by Iglesias and then Martin.

Pitbull, known also as Mr. Worldwide, got the night started with hits that included “Don’t Stop the Party,” “Hotel Room Service,” “Gasolina” (Daddy Yankee cover), “I know you want me (Calle Ocho),” “Timber” and “Fireball.” The 15-song set list left the audience on their feet, dancing and wanting more.

Iglesias left something to be desired. Reports were circulating online before the show about his lack-luster performances, mocking his singing voice, and comparing his set to nothing more than a drunken karaoke hour. The rumors seemed mostly true, as there was evidence of a backing vocal track throughout the set, as well as an energy level that seemed to be less than what his counterparts put out. However, he did cover his hits that included “Bailamos,” “Loco,” “Hero” and “Bailando,” while making use of both the main stage as well as a smaller “Stage B,” which was located at the back of the floor of the arena.<br />

Before Martin took the stage, there was a whispered question whether his recent divorce would have any effect on his performance. The crowd found the answer to be no, as Martin sung his hits “Shake your Bon-Bon,” “She Bangs” and “Livin’ la Vida Loca,” moved around the stage and danced with his dancers more than the others that night.

By the end of the show, the audience was cheering and wanting more from each artist who took the stage. Their songs echoed off of the rafters with every note and the crowd ate it up, with everyone ensuring that it would be a show that no one would soon forget.
